Job Summary:
Provides organized perioperative nursing care, controls and maintains an aseptic environment, and ensures patient safety during patient’s stay in the operating room
Required Qualifications/Knowledge:
The circulating/scrub registered nurse should have an excellent understanding of the principles of asepsis, anatomy, and tissue care, as well as a broad understanding of handling and manipulating all machines and equipment used in the operating room during operating procedures
Possesses a BS, LT or TS in Nursing Sciences
Has 2+ years of clinical experience in an operating room environment, preferably in cardiac surgery
Possesses a BLS certificate
